The Paganina, Carro
La Paganina is a 17th century residence once owned by the musician Nicolò Paganini’s family. It has been restored and offers tranquil holiday cottage accommodation. The building belongs today to the Duke Carlo Canevaro di Zoagli from the noble family who also owns the Castle Canevaro situated in Zoagli along the Liguria Coast next to the exclusive tourist destination of Portofino.
The 18th century atmosphere has been recreated to give a sense of the background to Paganini’s intense life. The house has a dining room with tavern/bar, a standard sitting room and a smaller one, a terrace with a view on the valley, two bedrooms (can sleep four) and two bathrooms with linen provided.
There is a kitchen with cooking utensils, microwave refrigerator and washing machine. Central heating system throughout but also a wood fireplace. Other facilities include broadband web access, telephone, satellite and DVD.
