Markets and Fairs

 Who does not enjoy going to markets and flea markets to search among the stalls a must have coat, a fine pair of sheets or simply an antique. 
‘The province of La Spezia and the province of Massa are rich in such appointments where they ensure they take place throughout the week on different days in different locations. 
Below we highlight the most well known appointments without forgetting those fairs which fill up during special events and annual feast days.

MARKETS

  • Monday: Carrara, Lido di Camaiore 
  • Tuesday: Varese Ligure, Fivizzano, Massa, Cinquale 
  • Wednesday: Levanto, Forte dei Marmi, Pontremoli 
  • Thursday: Bonassola, Sarzana, Pietrasanta, Viareggio, Marina di Carrara 
  • Friday: La Spezia, Camaiore 
  • Satursday: Sesta Godano„ Aulla, Pontremoli, Sestri Levante, Tonfano 
  • Sunday: Forte dei Marmi 

FAIRS

10 May at Sesta Godano, a free bus service links the parkign at Ponte Santa Margherita and the Fiera in the town. 
Festa di San Rocco: 16 August at Levanto
Fiera di Nostra Signora della Guardia: 28 & 29 August at Levanto
Festa della Madonna del Rosario: first weekend of October at Bonassola. An unmissable appointment with fireworks spectacular over the sea and a hugr market.

ANTIQUE MARKETS 

Brugnato: every third Sundy of the month. 
Chiavari: every second Sunday of the month, the Mostra Mereato Antiquario holds 120 exhibitors from 8 to 20; and from 8 to 23 in the months of July and August.
Sarzana: from5 to 20 August, the ‘Soffitta nella strada’, antique and other objects with 200  exhibitors and shops. 
La Spezia: Cercantico, a market specializing in antiques and collectors items – first Sunday of the month.

OUTLET

In Brugnato it is possible to visit “Shoppinn 5 Terre” with 70 boutiques and  100 brands.
